If you have access to the same computer your husband uses, such as a desktop or his laptop, you can check the internet history to determine if he is visiting pornographic websites. In Internet Explorer, click on the star at the top-right corner of your screen (for Favorites). Then click the History tab. You are showing different dates. In Mozilla Firefox, simply click on History at the top of your screen and then Show All History. You may have to hit Alt on your keyboard for these option to appear. You can see in the example that I recently visited Panda Pictures.

Browsers have made it very easy to delete your history, so this may not be a conclusive way to determine if your husband is visiting porn websites. You can visit your computers My Pictures, My Documents, and My Downloads folder to look for any suspicious files such as pornographic images or videos.

If there are no items in the history, then it is likely that your husband is deleting his internet history. If that is the case, then there are a few options. You can recover deleted files using several programs such as Recover My Files or Recovery Wizard. Programs like these can find files that have been deleted, even if they were removed from the Recycle Bin.

Another option is to install a stealth monitor software or keylogger to track websites visited on your husband’s computer.

If you find that your husband is visiting pornographic websites, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it is an addiction. This may be an issue you want to discuss directly or consult a counselor or therapist.
